Lauren Jevaney CPRP, CTRS has a strong background in recreational programming, with experience in instructing aquatics classes for senior citizens, coordinating activities for children with autism, and mentoring students in after-school care programs. Currently serving as Superintendent of Recreation at Oakbrook Terrace Park District and Inclusion Coordinator at Northwest Special Recreation Association, Lauren brings a wealth of experience in creating customized programs for diverse populations.

NWSRA exists to provide outstanding opportunities through recreation for children and adults with disabilities. NWSRA strives for each participant to function at his/her highest level of ability. Benefits of participation include increased socialization and community awareness, development of new leisure skills, increased physical and emotional well being, and increased self esteem, all in a fun, safe and structured recreation environment. 17 park districts that are served through NWSRA include: Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, Prospect Heights, River Trails, Rolling Meadows, Salt Creek, Schaumburg, South Barrington, Streamwood and Wheeling.
