Shannon Tessier

Shannon Tessier, CPHR, is a seasoned human resources professional with experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness at Northwestel since January 2021, Shannon has held various roles within the company, including Human Resources Consultant and Talent Acquisition Manager. Prior to this, Shannon worked as a People Consultant at Yukon University. With a strong foundational background in retail management starting as a Customer Service Representative, Shannon has advanced through several positions in Northwestel's retail sector. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation from CPHR BC & Yukon and a degree in Tourism Management from Yukon College, alongside ongoing studies at Athabasca University.
