Stan Thompson is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as CFO and VP of Corporate Services at Northwestel since 2012, Stan oversees a diverse team managing finance, human resources, and regulatory functions to provide telecommunications services across Canada's northern territories and Alberta and BC. Previously, Stan worked as a consultant at TMG International Inc and held senior positions at Port Townsend Paper Corporation, Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company, and Novartis, where significant revenue growth and operational improvements were achieved. Stan holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western University.
