Kassie Hoiland

Kassie Hoiland is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in tax accounting and compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at NorthWestern Energy since July 2021, Kassie prepares tax returns and filings, communicates tax issues with colleagues, and implements tax planning strategies. Previously, Kassie held the position of Tax Manager at Eide Bailly LLP, where responsibilities included providing tax compliance and consulting services, managing a team, and ensuring project deadlines were met. Earlier roles included R&D Tax Associate and Tax Intern at the same firm, where Kassie identified research activities for tax credits and prepared numerous tax returns. Kassie holds a Master's Degree in Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of South Dakota, complemented by internship experience in accounting and tax functions.
