Scott Hansen

Scott Hansen, PMP, CSM, is an accomplished Director of Information Technology with extensive experience in leading IT services across multiple organizations. Currently serving at NorthWestern Energy since December 2024, Scott has held prior leadership roles at Rosenbauer America and Sammons Financial Group, where responsibilities included oversight of IT operations, budget management, and software application support for numerous end users. Scott's career also encompasses positions as Sr. Project Manager at Sanford Health and Technical Project Manager at Midland National Life, where project leadership and strategic planning were key focuses. Early in career, Scott worked as a Software Engineer at American Memorial Life Insurance Co., contributing to the development of innovative systems. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Dakota State University.
