Heather Keirnan

Heather Keirnan has a strong background in healthcare administration, with extensive experience working for Northwestern Medicine. Heather began their career with Northwestern Medicine in 2006 as a Nursing Manager in Emergency Services. In this role, they demonstrated their leadership skills and dedication to providing quality patient care. Heather went on to become the Director of Operations for Women's Health in 2012, where they further honed their operational and managerial abilities. Heather then joined Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2015 as the Director of Emergency Services and Central Region Immediate Care, overseeing multiple departments and ensuring the efficient delivery of emergency healthcare services. Heather's impressive work led to their promotion in 2018 to the position of Vice President of Operations for Immediate Care Services at Northwestern Medicine. Heather Keirnan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago between 1982 and 1986. Heather further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Nursing Leadership from Benedictine University from 2010 to 2012.
