JT Liautaud has had a diverse range of work experiences over the years. JT started their career as a Snowboard Pro at Heavenly Resort Lake Tahoe. JT then worked as a Software Engineer and Web and Database Developer at Service Payment Plan, Inc., where they played a crucial role in designing and maintaining a mission-critical financial system. After that, they joined ClickStream Technologies as a Lead Engineer and Data Architect, managing technical operations and software engineering resources until the company was acquired by Microsoft.

Following this, JT Liautaud founded their own software consulting business called J.T. Liautaud and Associates, LLC, where they developed custom software solutions for clients and worked on projects for companies like Main Street Financial and Eire Direct Marketing, LLC. JT then moved on to closerlook, inc. as a Technical Architect, where they led the development and architecture of Backstage, a unique relationship-marketing campaign hosting and management platform tailored to the pharmaceutical industry.

Afterwards, they joined Ocius, a convergent billing and payment processing company, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect. JT oversaw and guided the technical aspects of merging two software platforms and architected a services-based backend to integrate the Ocius billing engine.

JT Liautaud later joined Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine as a Data Architect, responsible for building and managing the Northwestern Medicine Enterprise Data Warehouse, a comprehensive repository of clinical and research data sources. Currently, they are working at Northwestern Medicine as a Senior Data Engineer and Team Lead, where they are involved in migrating on-prem data warehouse capabilities to the cloud and serving as a technical team lead and mentor to junior team members.

Throughout their work experiences, JT Liautaud has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as Python, Azure, .NET, C#, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Git.

JT Liautaud began their education at Loyola Academy, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. JT then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and English at the University of Dayton, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999. In 2000 and 2001, they attended the Information Technology Institute and obtained a degree in Applied Information Technology, focusing on Software Engineering and e-Commerce. In terms of certifications, JT Liautaud has obtained a Caboodle Administration Certification from Epic in 2017. JT also holds an Epic Clarity Data Model certification, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unspecified.
