Matt Urban

Matt Urban is currently working as a Principal Software Developer at Northwestern Medicine since November 2021. Prior to this, they have had extensive experience at Whole Foods Market, where they served as a Senior Software Development Engineer in the Global Supply Chain Engineering department, contributing to the design and development of an enterprise promotions management system. Matt also acted as a technical lead for applications supporting daily operations and led feature development for various applications across the business. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer in Inventory Replenishment & Merchandising, developing key functionality and bug fixes for critical inventory and pricing software. Matt started their career at Whole Foods Market as a Store Systems Integrator/Regional Systems Analyst in the Midwest Region.

Matt Urban attended DePaul University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. In 2006, they also obtained a Certificate in .Net Developer from the same university.
