Steve Edelstein

Steve Edelstein is a physician and medical educator with extensive experience in various leadership roles at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. Currently serving as the Associate Medical Director for the Physician Assistant Program, Edelstein oversees preceptors for PA students and holds the position of Facility Director at the Northwestern Grayslake Outpatient Center. In addition, as the Medical Director of Occupational Services and Director of the NMPG Corporate Health & Travel Medicine Department, Edelstein integrates occupational health services while managing departmental policies and physicians. Edelstein has also contributed significantly to the development and operations of Illinois' second Free-Standing Emergency Department and supervises clinical rotations for PA students. Edelstein earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Michigan School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The University of Michigan.
