George Belmontes

George Belmontes is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in digital forensics and incident response. Currently serving as the Lead Digital Forensics Engineer at Northwestern Mutual since June 2016, George has held various roles including Senior Cybersecurity Engineer and Security Engineer, focusing on digital forensic investigations and incident response. Prior experience includes positions as a Technical Analyst at Adecco, IT Consultant at Cybernet, and a dual role as a Recruiter and Network Administrator at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin. George holds a Master of Science in Digital Forensics & Cyber Investigations and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, both from the University of Maryland Global Campus, supplemented by an Associate’s Degree in Computer Systems and Security from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
