Penny Vanhorn

Penny VanHorn is an accomplished executive in financial and operational management with over three decades of experience. Currently serving as COO at Northwestern Mutual since March 2013, Penny oversees Network Office Operations focusing on productivity and profitability while collaborating with the Management Team for office growth and development. Prior roles include Assistant Controller responsible for financial accounting and risk mitigation at Northwestern Mutual, CFO/Operations at LogoVision LLC, and CFO at Trevco Inc., where Penny managed financial operations and human resources across affiliated entities. Earlier career highlights include serving as FVP, Director of Finance and Operations for Comerica Securities, and Director of Operations at PNC, with a strong emphasis on regulatory reporting and client services. Penny holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
