Bryan Brayboy is currently serving as the Carlos Montezuma Chair at Northwestern University since July 2023. Previously, Bryan held the positions of President's Professor and Borderlands Professor of Indigenous Education and Justice at Arizona State University from August 2008 to July 2023. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Anthropology of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, earned between 1992 and 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed from 1986 to 1990.
