Elisa Mitchell

Elisa Mitchell is an accomplished legal and operations professional with extensive experience in the finance and academic sectors. Since 2015, Elisa has served as the Assistant Director of Operations and Finance at The Garage, Northwestern University, after previously holding the position of Operations Manager at the same institution. Prior to academia, Elisa worked at Invesco as Counsel from 2010 to 2013 and spent over a decade at Morgan Stanley Investment Management/Van Kampen Investments as Associate General Counsel. Early career roles include Assistant Counsel at Allstate Life Insurance Company and an internship at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Elisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
