John Nelson

John Nelson serves as the President of The Applied Research Company since August 1985, where the organization specializes in designing, developing, and delivering financial software applications and research. In addition to this role, John Nelson has been an Advisory Board Member for the Master of Engineering Management program and NUvention Analytics at Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science since April 2010, contributing to the development of management skills in engineering professionals and fostering innovation among students. Since 2016, John Nelson has also served on the Advisory Board of the National Introducing Brokers Association, an organization dedicated to representing and educating registered derivatives professionals. John Nelson holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from Northwestern University, as well as a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Kansas State University.
