Julie Allen

Julie Allen is a seasoned professional in alumni relations and development, currently serving as Board Secretary and Advisor to the President at Northwestern University since July 2015, while also holding the position of Senior Associate Vice President for Schools & Programs, Alumni Relations & Development. Prior to this role, Julie Allen worked at Kellogg School of Management from September 2008 to June 2015 as Campaign Director and Director of Principal Gifts, and as Director of Major Gifts. Earlier experience includes positions at Duke University from 2004 to June 2008 as Director and Associate Director of Development, and extensive roles at The University of Chicago from 1996 to 2003, including Director of Volunteer and Fund Programs and various other leadership positions in the Office of Annual Giving. Julie Allen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Chicago from 1992 to 1996 and completed secondary education at Albuquerque Academy from 1984 to 1992.
