Shelagh Haney

Shelagh Haney currently serves as the Assistant Director of Prospect Research and Management at Northwestern University, a position held since November 2021, and previously worked as a Gift Operations Specialist. In addition to this role, Shelagh has been a Clarinet Instructor at Virtu.Academy since February 2018. Prior experience includes roles at the Lyric Opera of Chicago as Development Services Coordinator and Audience Services Representative, a Special Events Assistant at Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras, and positions at Holtschneider Performance Center - DePaul University in stage management and front-of-house staff. Shelagh also served as a Development Fellow with the National Repertory Orchestra and worked as a Barista at Starbucks. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Business Analytics from Northwestern University, a Master's degree in Clarinet Performance from DePaul University, and a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College. Presently, Shelagh is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Northwestern University, expected to complete in 2024.
