Joseph Hewitt

Joseph Hewitt is a Control System Engineer at NorthWind Technical Services since June 2019, specializing in programming control systems for various industries, including infrastructure and food production. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Kansas State University from September 2015 to May 2019, where research focused on micro pocket fission detectors and electroplating actinides. Additionally, Joseph served as a Nuclear Reactor Senior Operator, supervising the KSU TRIGA MkII nuclear research reactor and providing educational support. Prior to these positions, Joseph was an Electrician's Mate in the US Navy from July 2008 to April 2015, operating and maintaining submarine nuclear power plant systems. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University.
