Brigit Folland Destino is an accomplished tennis professional with extensive experience in coaching and sports management. Currently serving as the Junior Tennis Director at Northwood Club since August 2022, Brigit has previously held positions as Assistant Coach at Southern Methodist University and Graduate Assistant Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Brigit's expertise includes organizing tennis clinics, building member relationships, managing pro shop operations, and developing promotional strategies. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Lenoir-Rhyne University and a BS in Sports Management and Entertainment from the University of South Carolina, complemented by experience as a sports marketing intern and a student-athlete. Additional roles include camp counselor at Wilson Collegiate Tennis Camps and leading tennis coach in Bath, England, showcasing Brigit's dedication to youth development and coaching at various skill levels.

Northwood Club is a prestigious country club established in 1946, we are best known for hosting the 1952 Golf U.S. Open. Our beautifully renovated PGA Championship Golf Course was named #1 Best Golf Course Renovation in Avid Golfer Magazine for 2019. Avid Golfer in 2021 gave the Club a ranking of #1 Elite Country Club in the DFW area and best pool hangout. Among other awards the club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. Our staff consists of a wide range of professionals who are well recognized in areas of Tennis, Golf, Fitness and Culinary. The Club provides opportunities for career growth through on the job training, increased work experience and internships for graduating students.
