Kate Brown

Kate Brown, AIA, NCARB is a highly experienced architect currently serving as a Project Architect at Northworks Architects + Planners since November 2023. Prior to this role, Kate was engaged at Apollo Art as an Architect/Business Development from May 2022 to November 2023, and held positions as a Junior Designer at Centaur Interiors and Suzanne Lovell Inc. between 2018 and 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech and multiple internships at firms such as Cooper Carry, GREC Architects, and Booth Hansen. Kate holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) with Magna Cum Laude honors from Virginia Tech, complemented by a brief educational stint at CASA - Center for Architecture Sustainability + Art and foundational schooling at Taunton School and The British School in The Netherlands.
