David Cobbold

David Cobbold possesses extensive experience in the mining and financial sectors, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Archer Exploration Corp., Vizsla Silver, and Angus Gold Inc., alongside an advisory role at Inventa Capital Corp. As Vice Chairman of Metal & Mining at Macquarie Group since December 2021, and previously Managing Director and Head of Mining Americas until September 2021, David has honed strategic leadership skills throughout a distinguished career. Prior to Macquarie, David held the position of Managing Director at CIBC Capital Markets from 1997 to 2011. David holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Western University.
