Schuyler Heuser

Director, Physician Relations at Norton Healthcare

Schuyler Heuser has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. They started their career as a Consultant at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in 2008, where they specialized in strategic and annual fund development. In 2009, they became the Director of Development at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where they led a team to cultivate relationships and generate contributions. In 2011, they joined Norton Healthcare as the Director of Major Gifts, responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive major gifts program to support Norton Children's Hospital. They later took on the role of Director of Physician Relations at Norton Healthcare.

Schuyler Heuser obtained a Bachelor's degree from Emory University between the years 1989 and 1993. Later, they earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, specializing in The Fundraising School. Additionally, Schuyler attended the AHP Madison Institute in 2014 to enhance their skills in Major Gifts. They also hold several certifications, including CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) from CFRE International in 2013 and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in 2012. Recently, in an unspecified year, Schuyler completed a course on Health Care Project Management titled "The Intersection of Strategy, People, and Process" at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Center for Executive and Continuing Professional Education.
