Kobus Nel

Kobus Nel has a diverse work experience in the credit and collections industry. Kobus most recently served as the Group Chief Executive Officer at Norton Lambrianos Group starting in 2022. Before that, they held the role of Chief Operating Officer at CSS Group from 2018 to 2022. At CSS Group, they were responsible for various operations including training, IT systems, call center services, and legal processes. Kobus also has experience as the Managing Director at Consumer Profile Bureau (PTY) Ltd in 2018, where they focused on incorporating AI-enabled smart solutions for clients. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Norton Lambrianos Attorneys from 2009 to 2018, handling various responsibilities within the firm. Kobus has been actively involved in the credit industry, serving as a member of the Credit Providers Association from 2010 to 2013 and as a Director at the Institute of Credit Management South Africa from 2008 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Kobus held positions at CSM (Pty) Ltd and MBD, where they contributed to the development and implementation of credit management solutions.

Kobus Nel is currently pursuing an LLB degree at UNISA. Their education in this field is still in progress. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from LinkedIn: "5 Personal Finance Tips" in May 2017 and "How to Handle Political Conversations at Work" in May 2017.
