Ghislain d'Humieres serves as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Norton Museum of Art since December 2020, following a distinguished tenure as Executive Director and Senior Vice President at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation from November 2017 to November 2019. Previous roles include Director and CEO of the Speed Art Museum, Director and Chief Curator at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, and various positions in auction houses such as Sotheby's and Christie's. Educational background includes degrees from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and training from the Museum Leadership Institute and Gemological Institute of America. Ghislain has a comprehensive expertise in museum operations, collections management, and art history, complemented by military service in a diplomatic role.
