Robert Marek

Robert Marek has a strong background in information technology, with experience in various managerial roles. Robert most recently served as the Director of Information Technology at Norvic Shipping since June 2023. In this position, they oversaw IT infrastructure for the international shipping company and implemented cost-saving measures such as unified communication and migrating to a cloud-based mail platform. Prior to this, Marek worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at the New York City Police Department from March 2018 to March 2019, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and supporting IT systems. Robert also worked as a Systems Engineer at Nu-Age Managed Services from November 2016 to January 2018, where they deployed a unified communication platform and spearheaded a mail server migration. Earlier in their career, Marek served as an IT Infrastructure Manager at ACORD from March 2004 to May 2016, overseeing global IT infrastructure, evaluating technology needs, and managing the IT budget.

Robert Marek attended Excelsior University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, Robert also received the following certifications: Comptia I-Net+ in April 2002, Comptia Network+ in March 2001, and Comptia A+ in December 1999. All certifications were obtained in New Jersey.
