Kristin Wahrheit

Kristin Wahrheit is an experienced Theatre Arts Teacher currently employed at Norwalk Public Schools since August 2021, where Kristin develops and instructs a culturally-responsive, SEL-based theatre arts curriculum for Grades 6-8 and leads an afterschool Drama Club. Prior to this role, Kristin taught at BASIS Independent Schools, developing theatre curricula for PreK and grades 4-9, and was a founding member of the Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) group. Kristin's background also includes positions at Mercersburg Academy as a Testing Coordinator, teaching theatre arts at the NYC Department of Education, and various roles in communications and outreach at Columbia University and The Center for Arts Education. Kristin holds a Master of Arts in Educational Theatre from NYU and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from James Madison University.
