Mthandazo Mofokeng

Mthandazo Mofokeng is an experienced lighting technician and designer with a diverse background in theater production. Currently employed at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. since November 2019, Mthandazo also works as a freelance lighting technician at Soweto Theatre and a freelance lighting designer at Sibikwa Arts Centre. Previous roles include senior lighting designer at Rockwood Theatre and lighting technician at The Market Theatre Foundation, among other freelance positions. Mthandazo has a strong foundation in theater management and production design, having served as the theater manager at Durban University of Technology and as a production designer/manager at Mhayise Productions. Mthandazo holds a diploma in TV/Drama and Production Studies from Durban University of Technology, earned between 2007 and 2009.
