Bidhubhusan Mahapatra

Bidhubhusan Mahapatra has extensive work experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research roles in various organizations. Bidhubhusan is currently the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning at the Norwegian Refugee Council since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at the Population Council from 2016 to 2022. Bidhubhusan also served as the South Asia Research, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager at Room to Read in 2016. In 2014, they were a Survey Research Specialist at ICIMOD. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Consultant and later as a Senior Program Officer at the Population Council. Bidhubhusan also held the position of Technical Officer- M&E at Family Health International, India from 2009 to 2010 and Manager- M&E at Karnataka Health Promotion Trust from 2006 to 2009.

Bidhubhusan Mahapatra completed their education as follows:

- From 2007 to 2013, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Population Studies at the International Institute for Population Sciences.

- From 2004 to 2006, they obtained an MPhil degree in Population Studies from the same institution.

- From 2001 to 2003, they completed their Master of Science degree in Statistics at Sambalpur University.
