Camilla Waszink

Director, Partnerships & Policy at Norwegian Refugee Council

Camilla Waszink is the Chief of Staff and Head of the Secretary General's Office at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Camilla has extensive experience in the field of arms and disarmament, having served as Programme Director at the International Law and Policy Institute from 2015 to 2016, and as Project Manager at the Norwegian Red Cross from 2012 to 2014. Camilla has also worked as a Policy Adviser at ICRC from 2009 to 2010 and again from 2002 to 2008. In addition, they have served as Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Peacebuilding Resource Centre from 2010 to 2012, and as a Researcher at the Small Arms Survey from 2001 to 2002.

Camilla Waszink is a graduate of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, where they earned their MA in International Policy Studies. Camilla also holds a BA from the University of Oslo (UiO) in Psychology, Law, and Political Science.

They work with Sean Nicholson - Director of External Relations, Geir Olav Lisle - Deputy Secretary General & Director of Organizational Development, and Magnhild Vasset - Director of Field Operations. Their manager is Jan Egeland, Secretary General.
