Nancy Karemeri

Nancy Karemeri has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, they are working as the Global Team Lead - Global Recruitment Center, Contract Management at the Norwegian Refugee Council. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Recruitment Advisor at the same organization.

Before joining the Norwegian Refugee Council, Nancy worked at Andela, where they had various roles. Nancy started as a Talent Operations Associate and later took on the position of Talent Development Operations, overseeing programs in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Nigeria. Earlier in their career, Nancy worked as an HR Projects Associate at Engage Media Ltd, where they played a vital role in testing front-end and back-end user experiences for mobile software development. Nancy also had a strategic planning internship at Nakuplan Consultants Ltd.

Nancy Karemeri obtained a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management from the College of Human Resource Management in 2023. Nancy also holds a Bachelor's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nairobi, which they earned between 2013 and 2017. Additionally, they obtained a Higher Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management in 2016-2017. Nancy Karemeri has also obtained several certifications in areas such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Neurodiversity in the Workplace, and Leadership. In 2021, they completed the Ability/Personality (ADEPT-15) certification from cut-e, an Aon company. Nancy also holds a certification in Computer Networking from the German Training Institute, obtained in 2013.
