Jackie Thornton

Jackie graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business, Sport and Recreation. She then spent a year as Student Union President before becoming a lecturer in Sports Coaching.

Having coached in the USA during the summer, she returned to Norfolk in 1998 to become one of the country’s first Girls’ Football Development Officers.

Her current key role is to work with the professional construction team to design, build and fund the development of The Nest.
