Michael Stonard

Michael Stonard has extensive experience in public service and organizational leadership, currently serving as Leader and Councillor at Norwich City Council since May 2012, where responsibilities include sustainable development and business growth. In addition to a role as Non Executive Director for Finance at One Norwich Practices Limited, Stonard is Managing Director of Future Digital Norfolk Ltd, providing digital radio services. A focus on education and social inclusion is reflected in the chair and vice-chair roles at Future Projects. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Executive at various NHS organizations, where substantial achievements in financial turnaround and operational performance were realized. Michael Stonard holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of East Anglia.
