Gabriela Gonzalez-Bonet

Gabriela Gonzalez-Bonet is an experienced science educator and molecular biologist with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at The Norwich Free Academy since 2012, Gabriela specializes in teaching Biology, ELL Biology, and Astronomy to high school students. Previous roles include Molecular Biologist at Pfizer/Atrium, where responsibilities included designing and expressing proteins and maintaining cell cultures, and LSAMP Program Coordinator at Cornell University, focusing on student mentorship and recruitment activities. Gabriela's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology from Cornell University and a BS in Chemistry from Universidad de Puerto Rico.
