Ryan Darlow

Solar Development Engineer at Norwich Technologies

Energy systems are Ryan’s primary career interest, especially renewable power. He has four years of experience in renewable energy system design and energy resource and feasibility assessment. His experience includes project management and development on both current and proposed solar and wind farms across North America. Ryan’s responsibilities have included technical analyses, such as shadow flicker, economic analyses such as price and energy projections used for pro formas, and management of electrical interconnection processes.

In 2012, Ryan completed a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont (UVM), with a focus in energy systems. He also received a B.S. in Thermal Energy Engineering from Aalborg University for the completion of studies and a research project on small-scale vertical axis wind turbines. At UVM, he was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award for Energy because of his passion and commitment to the field.
