Prior to this role, Loel held PGA Professional positions at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club from March 2005 to August 2009 and Shenandoah Country Club from May 2002 to February 2005. Loel's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting from Drury University, where studies were pursued from 1997 to 2002.

Norwood Hills Country Club was founded in 1922 as North Hills Country Club and has proven to be a staple in St Louis Golf. Norwood Hills has hosted many prestigious golf events over the years, including the 1948 PGA Championship (won by Ben Hogan), The St Louis Open in 1972 and 1973, along with numerous USGA and MWGA events.
