Brandon Smith, PGA has a work experience spanning over several years in the golf industry. Brandon started their career as an Assistant Golf Professional at Old Warson Country Club in 2008. Brandon served in this role until 2021. Later, in 2021, they joined Norwood Hills Country Club as the Head Golf Professional, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Golf Operations at Norwood Hills Country Club.

Brandon Smith, PGA has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Central Missouri. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Webster Groves High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Brandon has obtained several certifications from the PGA of America. In March 2014, they became a Class A - Member of the PGA of America, and in April 2020, they obtained the American Development Model certification from the same institution.

Norwood Hills Country Club was founded in 1922 as North Hills Country Club and has proven to be a staple in St Louis Golf. Norwood Hills has hosted many prestigious golf events over the years, including the 1948 PGA Championship (won by Ben Hogan), The St Louis Open in 1972 and 1973, along with numerous USGA and MWGA events.
