Philippa Shirtcliffe

Philippa Shirtcliffe currently serves as the Director of Risk and Compliance and Interim Head of Services for Berkshire at Norwood since June 2021. Previously, Philippa held the position of Assistant Director of Compliance and Head of Care Quality at Quality Compliance Systems from November 2016 to June 2021. Philippa has extensive experience at Allied Healthcare from June 2009 to October 2016 as Head of Policy and Whistleblowing and Safeguarding Lead, where the organization provided care for 25,000 patients daily. Additional experience includes various managerial roles at Anchor Trust between 1997 and 2009 and working in high dependency and critical care nursing at NHS from 1986 to 1997. Philippa holds an Extended Diploma in Management for Health and Social Care from Brighton School of Business and Management and received training at St James University Hospital Leeds.
