Jasper Makkinje

Jasper Makkinje has a varied work experience beginning in 2014 when they were the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Teddy Tutoring v.o.f. In 2016, they became a Teaching Assistant at Utrecht University. From 2017 to 2020, they held various roles including Trainee Data Science at both Xomnia and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Research Intern at Crownstone, and Data Scientist (Vantage AI) at ProRail, Randstad Groep Nederland, and 4Value. In 2021, they became a Machine Learning Engineer at Nory.

Jasper Makkinje has a diverse educational background. Jasper began their studies in 2004 at Gemeentelijk Gymnasium Hilversum, where they completed high school in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they completed 60 ECs towards a BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology. In 2013, they studied Italian Language and Literature at Università per Stranieri di Perugia, and earned a B2-level degree. Jasper then moved on to University College Roosevelt, where they earned a Bachelor of Science, Honours, Cum Laude in Computer Science and Cognitive Neuroscience in 2016. Finally, they completed a Master of Science (MSc), Honours in Artificial Intelligence at Utrecht University in 2018.
