António M Albuquerque Gonçalves

António M Albuquerque Gonçalves is an experienced engineer with over two decades of expertise in mobile networks, specializing in the design and optimization of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G systems across a variety of environments. Currently serving as an Experienced Engineer at NOS SGPS since May 2014, António has successfully delivered advanced indoor and outdoor designs and multi-operator 3D coverage simulations. Prior roles include RAN Special Projects Lead Engineer at Sonaecom, where multi-technology and multi-operator networks were optimized, and RAN Senior Special Projects Engineer at Optimus, managing over 400 projects focused on network performance. António's foundational experience includes telecommunications engineering at Portugal Telecom and an engineering internship at LEONI. António holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra and a Graduate Course in Finance from Católica Porto Business School.
