Brent Butzin

Brent Butzin is a highly experienced legal professional serving as a Partner at Nossaman LLP since April 2024, and previously held the position of Partner at Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell LLP from 2018 to April 2024. Brent has extensive experience in public law as an Assistant Attorney General with the Colorado Attorney General's Office from 2015 to 2018, providing legal counsel to the Colorado High Performance Transportation Enterprise and advising on infrastructure projects. Prior roles include practicing law at White Bear Ankele Tanaka & Waldron, where Brent focused on local government law, and serving as a City Management Advisor with the U.S. Department of State. Educationally, Brent holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, as well as multiple degrees in civil engineering and urban planning from the University of Colorado Boulder.
