Michelle Mellon-Werch is a Partner at Nossaman LLP, where Michelle provides expert advice on pensions, benefits, and investment plans focusing on fiduciary duties, plan governance, administration, and compliance. With 18 years of experience, Michelle has a strong background in retirement plans and trust funds, having previously served as Assistant General Counsel for the Texas Municipal Retirement System, where Michelle established a comprehensive Data Privacy Program. Prior roles include ERISA Attorney at Pittman & Fink, In-House Counsel at ERCOT and Hart InterCivic, and Associate Attorney at Haynes and Boone. Michelle holds a JD from The University of Texas School of Law, a BA in Economics from Brandeis University, and an MPAff in Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs.
