Monica Z. Lam is a distinguished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and digital content creation. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Daily Californian Education Foundation and a member of the Alumni Advisory Board at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, Monica has also held the position of Lecturer in Video & Television Reporting since January 2018. Monica's career includes significant roles at KQED, where responsibilities included Senior Producer and Senior Editor for KQED Newsroom, leading the editorial direction of California's weekly news program, and producing investigative reports for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting. With a strong documentary background, Monica co-founded Outlier Films, worked on PBS series like Keeping Score, and contributed to various media projects, showcasing a commitment to quality journalism and storytelling. Monica Z. Lam holds a BA in Urban Studies from Stanford University and an MJ in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
