Pierpaolo Pantone

Pierpaolo Pantone has had significant work experience in the software engineering field. Pierpaolo is currently working as a Backend Software Engineer at Nostos Genomics since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Grid Singularity as a Senior Backend Developer from January 2022 to November 2022, and as a Backend Developer from December 2020 to November 2022. Before joining Grid Singularity, Pierpaolo worked at i2x GmbH as a Machine Learning Engineer from August 2017 to April 2020. At i2x GmbH, they were responsible for implementing the company platform for data transcription, labeling, and validation. Before that, they worked at Nebulab as a Web Programmer from April 2016 to July 2017 and at NebuLab as a Web Programmer from June 2014 to August 2014. During their time at NebuLab, they focused on developing back-end functionalities for e-commerce websites using Ruby and Ruby On Rails, particularly the Spree Commerce platform.

Pierpaolo Pantone's education history starts with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy obtained from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a First Level Master's degree in Information Technology at Università degli Studi dell'Aquila from 2013 to 2014. Later, they attended The University of Edinburgh from 2014 to 2015 to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to their formal education, Pierpaolo Pantone has obtained several certifications. Pierpaolo completed the "Machine Learning" course and earned a certificate from Coursera in December 2015. Pierpaolo also acquired certifications in "Data Wrangling with Pandas for Machine Learning Engineers" and "Managing AWS EC2 Instances" from Pluralsight in April 2020. Most recently, in April 2022, they obtained a certification in "Mastering Git" from Pluralsight.
