Robert Tinkhof is the current Chief Operating Officer at Nostrum Oil & Gas. Robert has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and has held various positions in companies such as Shell and Salym Petroleum Development. In their most recent position as Well Engineering Manager, they were in charge of managing four 1500 HP drilling units, one side track rig and 19 hoists complete with associated services. Robert was also responsible for introducing the "Injury and Incident Free" program, which resulted in a dramatic drop of incidents. Prior to that, they were the General Manager Wells Iraq for Shell from 2006 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for all activities related to drilling, completion, and operations of wells in Iraq.

Robert Tinkhof has a certification from the Shell accreditation program in Round i and Round II accreditation.

Robert Tinkhof reports to Kaat Van Hecke, Chief Executive Officer. Robert Tinkhof works with Martin Cocker - Interim Chief Financial Officer, Daulet Tulegenov - Group QHSE Manager, and Arkadi Epifanov - Chief Commercial Officer.
