Partner at Notation Capital

Alex Lines is a partner at Notation Capital. Prior to that, they were a Technical Advisor at Hyperpublic, which was acquired by Groupon in 2012. Alex also served as a Technical Advisor at Bitly and Chartbeat. From 2009 to 2013, they were an Architect at Betaworks, where they helped newer companies with infrastructure, engineering, and technical strategy. Prior to that, they were Lead Developer / Sysadmin / DBA at ATTAP Technologies from 2005 to 2007. Alex also co-founded Path 101 in 2007 and served as its CTO until 2009.

Alex Lines graduated from The Lovett School and then went on to Vanderbilt University where they obtained a BS in Physics and a BA in English.
