Mercedes Krimme

Mercedes Krimme is a highly experienced localization professional currently serving as the Head of Localization at Notion since May 2024. Prior to this role, Mercedes held the position of Product Localization Manager at Spotify from May 2022 to March 2024 and was the Lead Program Manager at Meta, where responsibilities included leading the Localization Program Management team for various product areas of Facebook. From January 2015 to August 2021, Mercedes served as the Localization Program Manager for Facebook’s core suite of products, leading global localization strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Additional experience includes roles as Project Manager, Recruiting Researcher at Netflix, English Second Language Teacher at Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel, Political Organizer for Obama for America, and International Fellow in the German Parliament. Mercedes holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and German from both Florida State University and Koç University, along with education at Schiller International University Heidelberg and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
