Silvia Carame Estefan was born on August 20, 1970, she graduated in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) of São Paulo, also studied Economics in the area of Health at the Faculty of Public Health at USP, and has an MBA in Business Management by FIA-SP. She has experience in healthcare costs, medical bill management, claims control, negotiating with accredited providers, cash management, budgeting and corporate finance. Ms. Silvia has held the position of Director of Medical Accounts and Assistance Costs of GNDI since October 2008, having also accumulated the position of Treasury Director of GNDI between 2012 and 2015. Ms. Silvia served as financial superintendent of Unimed Paulistana between July 2007 and October 2008, having previously served as process leader and financial manager of GNDI between 2001 and July 2007.
