Anne Laro

Anne Laro has a robust background in music education and special education, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Special Education Coordinator at the Baltimore School for the Arts since June 2011, Laro also holds the position of Chair of the Music Department and teaches as Adjunct Faculty at Notre Dame of Maryland University, where responsibilities include Applied Oboe Lessons and music history courses. Previous experience includes roles as an Educator at Baltimore City Public Schools and as a Special Education Music Teacher at the Board of Child Care. Laro's educational qualifications consist of a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Music from Towson University.
