Amanda Knight, CFE, is an Internal Audit Specialist at the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Staff Accountant and Lead Revenue Auditor at FireKeepers Casino Hotel from July 2015 to August 2019, a Bank Teller at PNC from December 2014 to June 2015, and an Assistant Teacher at Bullfrogs and Butterflies Christian Learning Center from October 2013 to December 2014. Amanda also served as Manager at KrystalFalls GolfLand between September 2010 and September 2013, and as Assistant Manager at Schlotzsky's from July 2008 to April 2013. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Western Governors University (2018-2021), a Bachelor of Science degree in Math, History, and French Studies from Western Michigan University (2009-2015), and completed a study abroad program in French Language and Literature at Université de Franche-Comté in 2011.

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
