Amie Phillips A.a.s.

Amie Phillips, A.A.S. is an experienced professional in the gaming and business management sectors. Currently serving as Lead Ambassador at Women in Tribal Gaming since December 2023, Amie previously held the role of Ambassador within the same organization starting in May 2023. Amie's extensive career includes a long-term position as Licensing Manager with the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since September 2012, having also worked as a Licensing Specialist and Front Desk Receptionist. Earlier roles include Dual Rate Cage Supervisor and Cage Cashier at FireKeepers Casino Hotel from July 2009 to September 2012. Amie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University while holding an Associate degree in Business Management from Kellogg Community College, earned in January 2021. General studies education was completed at Bellevue High School from 1994 to 1998.

Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
