Bethany Moody is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in maternal and child health nursing. Currently serving as a Maternal Child Health Nurse with the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi since 2011, Bethany previously held the position of Tenured Nursing Faculty at Kellogg Community College from 1999 to 2008 and worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at South Haven Women’s Health Center from 1996 to 2001. Education includes a Master of Nursing in Nurse Midwifery from Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing - Case Western Reserve University, completion of a Midwifery program at Frontier School of Midwifery & Family Nursing, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science from Nazareth College, and an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing from Kellogg Community College.

The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is a federally recognized Tribal government with more than 1,600 enrolled Tribal Members. The NHBP main offices are located at the Pine Creek Indian Reservation near Athens, Michigan, with additional offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While NHBP seeks to improve the lives of their Tribal Members, NHBP also looks for ways to improve the lives of those around the NHBP Community. There are many events, programs and activities for NHBP Tribal Members, staff and Community members to attend throughout the year. The unity that NHBP purposely focuses on is meant to create a more diverse, accepting and caring culture.
